The Ideas themselves are often quite simple. The main idea behind the Ghost Yachts is to inspire our customer. Inspire and challenge them to have a different look at what a superyacht is and what it can do. We join our customer on the path to a new yacht. The design criteria demanded yachts that displays an unmistakable design. They should be instantly recognisable by their shape and silhouette instead of design details. We needed modern, well balanced and functional designs that emphasise the innovative "spirit" of Ghost Yachts. It was obvious that we needed a different type of yacht designer, one with a more diverse background and a broader understanding of materials and production procedures. A short search lead us to Gloss Design in Pescara, Italy, where Stefano Carugno and his team presented us with a simple sketch based on our design criteria. It was an exact match. Welcome to the Evolution The creation of Ghost Yachts offered the opportunity to start with a fresh view on superyachts. Right from the beginning the decision was made to create modern yachts that meet the requirements of 21st century yachting. Innovative advanced engineering solutions are the solid pillars of Ghost Yachts' technical platforms. The yachts offer a high level of sustainability in construction and operation. The technical platform allows a more efficient and faster construction while the advanced naval architecture offers lower emissions and a longer range. Ghost Yachts are a logical evolution of today's superyachts. Besides their signature styling they offer the matching technical innovations. The Naval Architecture and engineering of Ghost Yachts required a company with a bulletproof reputation, innovative thinking and a lot of experience with superyacht design and construction.
